About Me

I'm a graduate of SPTI having qualified from the Integrative BSc in 2013 and the Integrative MSc in 2021. I have worked in private practice, NHS IAPT services, the charity sector and higher education. I run a busy private practice from a purpose-built home annex (this is a private and separate room from the main house) and provides a calm and welcoming environment. I offer short, medium and long-term counselling and psychotherapy contracts. In 2019 I qualified as a Clinical Supervisor (PG Dip) and I am approved to offer personal therapy or supervision to BSc and MSc Integrative trainees. I hold a developmental-relational stance which informs my psychotherapeutic practice. I strive to offer an appropriately safe and containing relationship which can help support deeper relational contact with self and others. I have a broad range of experience of client presentations, and have a keen interest in early relational trauma, its' impact, and how the therapeutic journey can help clients overcome difficulties and barriers in their adult life. My practice is easily accessible from Nottingham, Loughborough and surrounding villages. There is a regular direct bus route too. Driveway and plenty of free street parking available.

I can help with

Anxiety, low mood/depression, uncertainty, stress, low self-esteem, family problems, relationship difficulties, separation and divorce, early relational trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACE), the impact of changes, work difficulties, sexual identity, loss and bereavement. These are an example of the difficulties clients have brought to therapy, please be assured I am open to discuss whatever you might want to bring.
