About Me

Hi, I'm Ruth, an Integrative psychotherapist with extensive training and experience in working with clients at relational depth. Having completed both the BSc and MSc at SPTI, I hold both BACP Accreditation and UKCP Registration. I have worked with SPTI students for a number of years either as their therapist or clinical supervisor and I really enjoy this aspect of my practice; supporting trainees on their own personal and professional journeys. My experience has been gained in private practice, the charity sector, higher education, and as a high intensity therapist within NHS IAPT services. I have an active and lively interest in human experience and relationship, and a particular interest in the legacy of early relational experience and its impact throughout adult life. This includes early relational trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACE).
