About Me
Hi, I’m Lisa — a humanistic and integrative counsellor and psychotherapist working with adults and young people. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or the impact of past experiences, you’re not alone. I offer a warm, empathetic, and confidential space where you can begin to explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns at your own pace. My Approach I work holistically with the mind and body, recognising that our emotional experiences often live within both. My goal is to help you reconnect with your authentic self, moving towards healing and growth. Whether you're looking for support with: Anxiety, depression, low mood, or self-esteem Health, hormones or life transitions. Exploring your gender or identity. Neurodiversity (including ADHD and ASC). Recovery from abuse, historic or recent, sexual, emotional or physical. Parenting struggles, family difficulties (including blended families) or relationship issues. My approach is tailored to your unique needs. About Me Over the past few years, I’ve supported individuals impacted by sexual abuse, worked with young adults in educational settings, and gained extensive experience in the health and social care sector — particularly in supporting those with complex mental health needs, ADHD, and ASC. I offer short-term, medium-term, and long-term therapy, and together we’ll decide what’s right for you. Location & Availability My private practice is based within Edwinstowe House, easily accessible by car or public transport, with free on-site parking. Sessions are available Tuesday to Friday, in person, via Zoom, or over the phone. Let’s Connect I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation via phone or Zoom to help us decide whether we’re a good fit. You’re welcome to get in touch by phone, text, or email — whichever feels easiest for you. I look forward to hearing from you.
