- About Me
- Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but you are not alone. I’m here to support you on this journey. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply have a feeling that things don’t feel that great, you are in the right place. Therapy offers a space to step back, reflect, and explore your thoughts and feelings with a professional. We can explore these experiences together in a way that feels meaningful and supportive for you so that you gain clarity to move forward . I have extensive experience gained through private practice and over the years, largely working in the community, with: • Nottingham Counselling Service. • Nottingham Trent University. • Nottingham Women’s Centre. • Childline These experiences have shaped me both personally and professionally. I’ve developed a deep understanding of how challenges within relationships or past life experiences – such as trauma or abuse – can affect emotional and physical wellbeing in adulthood. And how influences of gender, power and oppression within the communities and societies we live, inform and shape our internal worlds. I’ve been where you are, seeking therapy, to support my role as a professional. I am committed to providing a therapeutic space where you feel safe to explore your unique experiences – whether you identify as female, male or beyond the binary. Where you can feel truly heard and supported, no matter what you’ve been through. Curious about how therapy could support you? Let’s talk. I offer a free and confidential consultation where we can explore what feels right for you.

- Everyone’s journey is different. My role is to offer you a confidential and therapeutic space where you feel safe to explore what matters most to you. If you are facing difficulties, you’re not alone. I offer support with a range of experiences, including: • Anxiety and depression. • Relationship issues and challenges within families. • Low self-esteem and low confidence. • Exploration related to a sense of disconnection or emptiness despite an outwardly successful or supported life. • Historic or current emotional, physical and/or sexual abuse, including gaslighting, coercive relationships, domestic abuse and/or violence. • Trauma. • Self-harm and suicidal thoughts. • Bereavement and loss. Therapy is a collaborative process, and while person-centred and experiential psychotherapy will be at the heart of our work, we can also draw on trauma-informed therapy or other approaches relevant to your experiences to ensure therapy feels meaningful and relevant to you. Therapy can support you to… • Feel more connected to your emotions in a deeper way. • Develop strategies to manage anxiety and overwhelm. • Align your thoughts, feelings, and body for improved balance. • Improve communication and confidence in expressing your needs. • Build more meaningful and fulfilling relationships. • Navigate social situations with greater ease. Based in the Nottingham area, I offer in-person and remote therapy. With a free and confidential initial consultation, my fee is £55.00 per 50-minute session. I have a number of flexible places or at concessionary rates as an intention that psychotherapy is accessible and inclusive regardless of individual circumstance. If this approach resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. Together we can explore what feels right for you.
