- About Me
- I started counselling in 2016 and have worked with a wide range of clients within a general counselling service, as well as in specialised roles supporting survivors of childhood sexual abuse, counselling students at a university and providing short-term counselling to NHS clients. I have been working in private practice since 2021. The way I work is focused around what you as an individual need. I won’t tell you what to do and I don’t believe there is a one size fits all approach to mental health and wellbeing. I offer a safe and non-judgmental relationship where we can explore whatever it is that you are struggling with together. During sessions I may offer different perspectives or ways of looking at things, but this comes with the understanding that you are the expert on yourself and with the aim of helping you to find your own way of understanding and approaching the difficulties you face.

- I can help with
- I work with many different issues clients bring to therapy, however there are some areas I have significant experience and interest in, including working with: anxiety and depression, survivors of trauma and abuse, relational issues, life transitions, embodiment – the way we experience and interact with our bodies, bereavement, identity issues, exploring sexuality, the impact of being neurodiverse in a neurotypical world, as well as climate and environmental anxiety.
